About The Position

As a Security Officer - Utility Substation Rover in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to calls for assistance, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, issuing visitor instructions, and directing traffic flow per site procedures.
• Complete accurate reports and logs for patrols, inspections, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate observations to client representatives and/or Allied Universal leadership.
