As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a major utilities location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with visitors and personnel, deliver outstanding customer service, and utilize technology such as computers or tablets as needed. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Experience working in limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and observe for irregularities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help control access and report any unusual situations.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance needs observed during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Remain alert to potential hazards or suspicious activity within the utility location and report findings promptly.
