Job Description As a Security Officer - Utility Patrol Full-Time in Honolulu, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol utility locations to help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for unusual conditions.
• Maintain awareness of site operations and report any security-related concerns or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or site representatives.
• Assist in controlling access to the location, verifying credentials as required, and observing for any unusual or prohibited activities.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as part of daily responsibilities.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following site-specific emergency response procedures.
