Job Description As a Security Officer - Utility Patrol Driver in Oregon, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and routine patrols contribute to a secure environment for all. This position requires a valid driver's license and involves driving responsibilities. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution and communication as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Maintain awareness of all activity within the assigned utilities location, reporting observations and/or incidents according to established protocols.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and interacting with visitors and employees as appropriate.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to support the overall security-related objectives of the location.
