Job Description As a Security Officer - Utility Facility Patrol Lead in Boise, ID , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing outstanding customer service, and communicating clearly with visitors and staff. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site contacts regarding incidents, emergencies, or unusual situations.
• Document all activities, incidents, and observations according to established procedures.
• Assist visitors, contractors, and employees with directions and information as needed while maintaining access control protocols.
