Job Description As a Security Officer - Utilities Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergencies when needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding incidents, concerns, or site-specific matters.
Complete required reports and documentation related to incidents, patrols, and daily activities as directed by Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
Remain alert and observant within the utilities environment, adapting to changing conditions and site-specific needs.
