As an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the site, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving position. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
You must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns observed during patrols throughout the utility location.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents, hazards, and security-related matters as required.
Assist visitors and personnel with directions and information in accordance with site procedures.
Support emergency response operations as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
