As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol and monitor a utilities location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing excellent customer service. This primarily driving post allows you to remain visible throughout the property, interact with staff and visitors, and respond promptly to situations as they arise. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor and report any irregularities or unusual activity observed during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.
Follow all post orders and instructions specific to the utility environment.
Complete required reports and logs accurately and in a timely manner.
