As a valued member of the Allied Universal team, you will help to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access at a utilities location by managing access control responsibilities. Your role involves monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence to visitors and personnel. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate and collaborate with other personnel and/or law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters at the location.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access procedures and provide information as needed while maintaining security-related protocols.
