As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This is a driving post, where you will conduct regular vehicle patrols and remain visible to support a positive atmosphere. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the utilities location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management.
  • Complete required documentation and reports related to security-related incidents, patrols, and observations.
  • Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions as directed by Allied Universal and location management.
