As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This is a driving post, where you will conduct regular vehicle patrols and remain visible to support a positive atmosphere. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the utilities location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
Maintain clear and professional communication with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management.
Complete required documentation and reports related to security-related incidents, patrols, and observations.
Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions as directed by Allied Universal and location management.
