Security Officer - Unarmed Driving Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Driver Response Patrol in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer supporting a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and customer needs with clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, allowing you to move between assigned areas as needed. Requirements
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- CPR certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and/or public responders as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to discourage unauthorized activity; working conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and help to manage entry and exit according to site-specific policies and procedures.
- Complete written and/or electronic reports, document unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal management.
