You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, assisting with questions, and documenting observations. This is a driving post requiring a Valid Driver's License under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Work with an agile, caring team that leads with integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail and mall environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including customer concerns, disturbances, and service calls from on-site partners.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, corridors, exterior walkways, and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points, loading or delivery areas, and key locations as assigned, reporting unusual conditions and/or maintenance concerns through established channels.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs for incidents, patrol activity, and customer interactions, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as required.
