Your role includes monitoring access points, conducting regular patrols, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and manage the flow of personnel and visitors at the location.
  • Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering restricted areas in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting employees, visitors, and contractors as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe for irregularities and report any security-related concerns.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when appropriate, supporting emergency response activities as directed.
