You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to support a secure environment. Requirements

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and permissions of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and personnel with security-related inquiries and guidance on site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client procedures.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment at the utility location.
Participate in emergency response activities as required by site-specific procedures.
