Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises to help maintain authorized access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences in a timely manner.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support security-related operations and procedures at the location.
Assist in the implementation of emergency response activities as directed by site leadership or Allied Universal management.
