As a Security Officer Patrol Unit in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
  • Baton certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to observe site activity, assist with access-related procedures, and follow post orders and incident reporting requirements.
  • Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and handling routine security-related concerns in a professional manner.
