As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while delivering a customer-first experience. Requirements
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and support resources as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, corridors, stairwells, loading and receiving areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access points and traffic flow, verifying authorization as required and reporting suspicious or unusual conditions according to post orders.
- Complete patrol and incident documentation using required reporting tools, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts per established procedures.
