As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hotels and resorts location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist guests and staff through clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and escalate concerns as needed. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel and resort location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards, maintenance issues, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and guest areas, observe for unusual conditions, and verify credentials and/or authorization as required by post orders and site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with guest issues, reporting disturbances, and coordinating with on-site management and/or public responders when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related activities in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
