About The Position

As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor screening. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with staff and guests while using basic computer or tablet tools. Requirements

Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to the client by following Allied Universal protocols, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures appropriate for a food and beverage production and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting observations through approved communication channels.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter, watching for unusual activity that may help to deter security-related incidents.
Monitor access points and vehicle traffic as assigned, verifying identification and/or authorization, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries per site guidelines.
Complete timely security-related reports and logs, including incident reports and patrol activity, and coordinate with site representatives and/or public responders as needed.
