Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will help manage access control, monitor entrances, and support residents and guests with professional customer service and communication. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while working as part of a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, grant authorized access, and/or document visitor and vehicle information in accordance with community guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
  • Communicate with residents, management, and/or responding personnel regarding security-related matters, directions, and post instructions.
