As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned food and beverage locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere. Your presence and customer service skills will support a secure environment for everyone on site. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and play a vital role in access control while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and people-first service.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage production location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
Document incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns.
Remain alert and observant while on duty, adapting to changing environments and situations within the food and beverage facility.
