Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Patrol in Malvern, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. This position requires you to be armed and operate a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. You will engage with clients and visitors, deliver exceptional customer service, and support a secure environment while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation.

Requirements

Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Act 235 qualification is required for Pennsylvania.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual activity and report findings according to site protocols.
Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering and/or exiting the premises.
Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and patrols.
Follow all Allied Universal and client site policies regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.
