Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Facility Patrol in Savannah, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of experience as a security supervisor or manager or 3 years of security-related experience.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the aerospace and defense location, including the business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related hazards encountered during patrols.
Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all incidents and daily activities.
Communicate promptly and professionally with Allied Universal management, client representatives, and/or emergency responders as needed.
Follow all site-specific procedures and guidelines relevant to the aerospace and defense environment.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries and provide directions or information as needed.
