Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.
  • Monitor access points and observe activities within the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents, observations, or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during patrols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities according to site procedures, supporting clients and visitors as needed in the event of an incident.
