About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - Telecom in Brookhaven, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly with team members and management regarding incidents, observations, and site updates.
Assist with access control, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
Document incidents and daily activities using Allied Universal reporting systems according to site requirements.
