Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech location as an unarmed Patrol Officer, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help identify and report security-related concerns. You will conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence, and support employees and visitors with strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements
- Have 6+ months of security-related experience.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout technology-focused office and/or campus locations, including building interiors, exterior perimeters, parking areas, and common spaces.
- Monitor access points and authorized entry processes, reporting irregular activity and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting evacuations, medical calls, and/or coordination with local responders as needed.
- Complete detailed reports and logs of patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate status updates and/or shift handoffs to the appropriate contacts.
