As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor grounds and interior areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control at key entry points, document observations, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Control access at entrances and vehicle gates by verifying identification, coordinating visitor check-in and/or badge issuance per site policy, and directing deliveries to designated areas.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, investigate observed issues, and communicate updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, provide clear directions during site emergencies, and complete accurate reports and logs.
