As a Security Officer - Site Patrol in Nampa, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, communicate clearly with onsite teams, and deliver outstanding customer service while documenting observations and escalating issues as needed. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a tech campus or office location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and visitor traffic, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and assist with badge and entry processes in accordance with site guidelines.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifying appropriate parties, and documenting actions taken.
- Complete detailed reports and logs, communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and support investigations by preserving relevant information.
