As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy airport location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist travelers and staff with clear communication and customer service. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminals, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter zones; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with onsite staff and local responders as needed.
- Document observations, patrol activity, and incidents in written reports and logs, and communicate updates to supervisors according to post orders.
