You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter incidents, support vaccine-related operations, and deliver standout customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
  • Proof of a high school diploma and/or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with clinical staff and local emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor flow as assigned, verifying credentials and/or visitor authorization and documenting activity per site policy.
  • Complete required reports and logs, including incident documentation and shift activity updates, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or incoming officers.
