About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rover Driver in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support associates and visitors with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative approach while contributing to a caring, people-first culture built on teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site contacts and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices, lobbies, ATM areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and building activity, verifying credentials and/or controlling entry in accordance with site procedures.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, escalating unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
