About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rounds in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and support access control procedures. You will observe and report unusual activity, assist employees and visitors with clear communication, and respond to incidents with professionalism. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the interior and exterior areas, including entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, reporting maintenance issues, suspicious activity, and policy concerns through required logs and incident reports.
• Support security-related operations by completing required documentation, participating in shift briefings, and maintaining a professional presence while interacting with the public.
