As an unarmed patrol officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor guidance. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and/or responders, and provide customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of production areas, office spaces, warehouses, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and visitors using site credential and visitor management processes, escalating concerns per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs of patrol activity, incidents, and unusual observations, communicating information to Allied Universal supervision and/or site leadership per site requirements.
