About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Perimeter Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Possess 1+ years’ law enforcement experience OR 2+ years’ security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years’ security experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • An armed guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Perform armed post duties in accordance with licensing requirements, site post orders, and Allied Universal guidelines, including maintaining proper control and accountability of assigned equipment.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate parties and/or emergency services as required by site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter, monitoring for unusual activity and conditions that could help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, monitoring visitor and employee traffic, and completing required reports, logs, and incident documentation.
