You will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm professionalism. Build positive rapport with shoppers and staff through clear communication and outstanding customer service, while documenting observations and working as a reliable teammate with integrity.

Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail sales floors, common areas, back-of-house corridors, loading areas, and exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or hazards.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help identify potential theft, disorderly conduct, and/or policy violations; report concerns to site leadership and/or law enforcement as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear directions to patrons and/or staff and assisting with evacuations and/or crowd movement when required.
• Complete required reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate security-related information to supervisors, client representatives, and/or incoming officers.
