About The Position
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Property Roving CRE in Santa Monica, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards found during patrols.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and observations while on duty.
- Support access control protocols to help to deter unauthorized entry to the premises as required by site-specific procedures.
