As an unarmed patrol officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor flow, document observations using a computer and/or tablet, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting initial response until additional resources arrive.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working conditions that may vary by site.
• Monitor access points for employees, contractors, and visitors; verify identification, follow visitor management processes, and report irregularities per post orders.
• Complete routine security-related reporting such as shift activity logs and incident documentation, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
