As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and service calls, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering customer service. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity, unsecured doors, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and key areas, verify identification and/or authorization when required, and help manage visitor and vendor entry according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, contacting appropriate resources, and documenting actions taken.
• Complete accurate reports of daily activities, patrol findings, incidents, and maintenance concerns, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
