As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with guests and staff, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the retail or mall environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any security-related concerns.
Monitor for suspicious behavior or unauthorized access and report findings according to site procedures.
Assist with crowd management and help to maintain an orderly environment during peak hours or special events within the retail setting.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or site needs.
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner as directed by site policies.
