About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Property Patrol in Hebron, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Support access control, respond to calls for assistance, and document observations with clear communication and strong customer service. Requirements

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards and maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor flow by checking credentials, issuing temporary badges when authorized, maintaining visitor logs, and directing people to appropriate locations in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, assisting with crowd control, and supporting first responders as directed.
  • Complete timely documentation such as patrol activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
