Security Officer Unarmed Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Pryor, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, assist with badge checks when needed, and communicate clearly with site teams, drivers, and visitors. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout warehouse areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or shipping documentation as required, and directing visitors, drivers, and vendors according to site procedures.
- Operate and monitor security-related systems such as CCTV and alarm panels as assigned, and complete shift logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details.
