As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors with strong customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations and incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to client personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage facility.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, check identification and/or credentials as required, and document visitor, vendor, and contractor entries in accordance with location guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including observing, reporting, and escalating to site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Complete reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation; communicate security-related concerns to supervisors and client representatives and support basic traffic and/or delivery dock control when requested.
