As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams, drivers, and visitors while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

• Possess a TSA Issued TWIC.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Control access at gates, guard shacks, and/or building entrances by verifying credentials, managing visitor and driver check-in, and directing traffic flow for deliveries and pickups.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, disturbances, and/or medical incidents, and notify site contacts and/or emergency services as required.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, client representatives, and Allied Universal management.
