As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe and report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a guard card/license preferred.
• Have access control/badge experience preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be comfortable using computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific policies, access control procedures, and other security-related protocols at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor security-related systems and communications, including CCTV, alarm panels, radios, and phone calls, and document observations per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies, disputes, and equipment or property concerns, and request assistance from site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Complete detailed shift logs and incident reports, communicate handoff information to the next shift, and support investigations by preserving observations and reporting policy violations.
