Job Description As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Blythewood, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor screening. You will document activity, respond to requests, and communicate clearly with staff and guests while delivering a strong customer service experience. Requirements

Have at least 2+ years of security-related experience.
Have 2+ years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns and documenting activities according to Allied Universal and site guidelines.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, as permitted by site policy.
Monitor access points and help to control the flow of employees, contractors, and visitors by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to proper check-in locations.
Perform routine inspections of doors, gates, docks, and critical areas, helping to identify unusual conditions such as unauthorized entry, property damage, or environmental concerns and escalating per site procedures.
