Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Tyler, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will provide a sense of reassurance to employees and visitors, while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity within the food and beverage production environment.
Monitor entry and exit points to help control access and report any suspicious or unusual activity.
Support the enforcement of company policies and procedures specific to the food and beverage industry location.
Document and report observations, incidents, and/or hazards encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and client representatives.
Assist with emergency procedures and/or evacuations as needed in accordance with site protocols.
