Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, restricted areas, and perimeter to help identify potential concerns and report conditions requiring attention.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or staff credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized entry into sensitive areas of the location.
• Support daily operations in a healthcare-related environment by observing activity, reporting hazards or maintenance issues, and following post orders and Allied Universal protocols.
