About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Bristol, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol buildings and grounds, complete routine rounds, document observations, and respond to incidents and guest needs with calm, clear communication. Your visible presence can help to deter security-related concerns while you support access control and report issues. Requirements

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and common areas, observe for unusual conditions, and document observations and incidents per site requirements.
  • Complete routine reports and communicate clearly with on-site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding shifts, incidents, and follow-up actions.
