Security Officer - Swing Shift
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in North Liberty, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and respond to calls for assistance with a customer service mindset. Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors and employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help reduce the likelihood of unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
- Control access by monitoring gates and entrances, checking identification and/or visitor logs, and directing deliveries and contractors to designated areas per site procedures.
- Complete written and/or electronic reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and maintenance observations, and communicate notable conditions to supervision and/or the client representative.
