Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the food and beverage production location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
- Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
- Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.
- Support emergency response activities, including guiding employees and visitors during evacuations and/or drills.
- Communicate promptly and professionally with site staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
